Package: libmysqld-dev Version: 5.1.49-3 Severity: normal I am trying to track down a bug in a mysqld-using application I am writing, and need to step into the library with a debugger to find out what's going wrong. Unfortunately for me, there is no libmysqld-dbg package containing a non-stripped version of the library to enable this.
(It's a bug somewhere in my config. Unfortunately, I am running into upstream bug <http://bugs.mysql.com/bug.php?id=43408> which means the error message I am getting is completely useless. Stepping through with the debugger is the next best option I can think of.) -- System Information: Debian Release: 6.0 APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.32-5-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages libmysqld-dev depends on: ii libmysqlclient-dev 5.1.49-3 MySQL database development files libmysqld-dev recommends no packages. libmysqld-dev suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
