Package: logrotate Version: 3.7.8-6 Severity: wishlist On Debian, some packages providing configuration include directory allow for easily disabling. E.g.: /etc/cron.d/ -> if a file has a . (dot) anywhere in the name, it is not taken into account, so adding a .old or ."date" something gets it disabled Other e.g.: /etc/apt/sources.list.d/ -> any file not ending in .list is ignored, so adding a .disabled gets it disabled.
Currently, any file in /etc/logrotate.d/ is interpreted. It would be great if logrotate had a similar mechanism as described.
