the squeeze version of extlinux installs the /etc/kernel/*.d/zz-extlinux
files mode 0644, so while the permissions may have been fixed in
4.01+dfsg-4 the bug re-appeared in the version in squeeze.  so this bug
affects new squeeze installations and squeeze -> wheezy upgrades.

IMO this bug needs a more robust fix (chmod +x in maintainer script).
