I'm not sure, whether I filed the bug against the correct package. Please
correct me if not.
Many copies of an error dialog appear each time my laptop wakes up from
hibernation or connection of my external keyboard. The problem does not depend
on the external keyboard, it occurs also if the external keyboard is
disconnected before sending the computer to hibernation. The number of messages
varies, but it is huge: I have counted up to 71 copies! That number does become
tedious to click away...
The error message is:
Error activating XKB configuration
It can happen under various circumstances:
- a bug in libxklavier library
- a bug in X server (xkbcomp, xmodmap utilities)
- X server with incompatible libxkbfile implementation
