Package: grub2-splashimages Version: 1.0.1 Severity: minor
Hello, first of all, thanks for maintaining the package :) But I found a little problem which mislead me when setting up a different splash screen image for grub. In the package README file it says: 1. How to change default GRUB2 splashimage? Change a line like WALLPAPER="/usr/share/images/..." to WALLPAPER="/boot/grub/splashimages/some_file.tga" in /etc/grub.d/05_debian_theme and run update-grub. But there is no definition of WALLPAPER in that script. Setting it manually didn't have the desired effect either. $ grep WALLPAPER /etc/grub.d/05_debian_theme set_background_image "${WALLPAPER}" "${COLOR_NORMAL}" "${COLOR_HIGHLIGHT}" || Instead I found WALLPAPER in /usr/share/desktop-base/grub_background.sh, changing it was a success.
