Package: w3m-el-snapshot Version: 1.4.400+0.20100725-1 Severity: minor For some reason anchors within a page (e.g. from the table of contents) don't work on wikipedia anymore. For example,
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/example.net#Subdomains AFAICT this is supposed to hit the id="Subdomains" bit. <h2><span class="editsection">[<a href="/w/index.php?title=Example.com&action=edit&section=1" title="Edit section: Subdomains">edit</a>]</span> <span class="mw-headline" id="Subdomains">Subdomains</span></h2> But w3m-el-snapshot says "No such anchor: Subdomains". I believe this was a change made within wikipedia to an HTML format that w3m-el doesn't understand. Assuming the change is valid HTML syntax, w3m-el should be made to understand it. Otherwise, I guess you can WONTFIX this and I will have to complain to wikipedia, who will ignore me because I'm not using firefox :-/ -- System Information: Debian Release: 6.0 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.34-1-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_AU.utf8, LC_CTYPE=en_AU.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages w3m-el-snapshot depends on: ii dpkg 1.15.8.7 Debian package management system ii emacs 23.2+1-7 The GNU Emacs editor (metapackage) ii emacs-snapshot-nox [emacs 1:20101212-2 The GNU Emacs editor (without X su ii emacs23-nox [emacs23] 23.2+1-7 The GNU Emacs editor (without X su ii install-info 4.13a.dfsg.1-6 Manage installed documentation in ii w3m 0.5.2-10 WWW browsable pager with excellent Versions of packages w3m-el-snapshot recommends: pn apel <none> (no description available) pn flim <none> (no description available) Versions of packages w3m-el-snapshot suggests: ii bzip2 1.0.5-6 high-quality block-sorting file co ii imagemagick 8:6.6.0.4-3 image manipulation programs pn libmoe1.5 <none> (no description available) pn mule-ucs <none> (no description available) pn namazu2 <none> (no description available) ii perl-doc 5.10.1-16 Perl documentation ii poppler-utils [xpdf-utils] 0.12.4-1.2 PDF utilitites (based on libpopple pn ppthtml <none> (no description available) pn wv <none> (no description available) pn xlhtml <none> (no description available) -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
