I have installed a fresh debian squeeze from cd, installed mingw32 and
tried the command (with an empty exception.cc file):i586-mingw32msvc-g++ -Wall -g -shared -shared-libgcc -o exception.dll exception.cc As stated in the bug report. I get the same error: /usr/lib/gcc/i586-mingw32msvc/4.2.1-sjlj/../../../../i586-mingw32msvc/bin/ld: cannot find -lgcc_s collect2: ld returned 1 exit status This is mingw32 version 4.2.1.dfsg-2. So apparently it's not been fixed.
