I don't understand why you override gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg's shlibs:Depends by a hand-crafted dependency on libavcodec. This procedure may need to be updated regularly and is error-prone, as your upload of -4 proves. I see that you want to avoid gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg to be run with the unofficial ffmpeg libraries of d-m.o. So who don't you just do it the other way round and add Breaks: libavcodec52 (>= 5:0) instead of overriding the shlibs:Depends?
