Did your camera work with Debian Lenny and ekiga?

there have been two updates to libv4lconvert since the version in

check if the error is still occurs?

I installed version libv4l-0 from testing (0.8.2-1). This problem is
gone (error messages), but there is another one: FPS goes down. It is
around 1 FPS with resolution 320x240 and around 4 FPS with resolution
640x480.

Before I report this bug to upstream, can you please create a log file one time with the old and one time with the new library:

Open a terminal and type:
export LIBV4L2_LOG_FILENAME=/tmp/libv4l2.txt
ekiga

Save the log from /tmp/libv4l2.txt, install other library and rerun the test.

I guess you experience the conditions mentioned in:
http://git.linuxtv.org/v4l-utils.git?a=blobdiff;f=lib/libv4lconvert/libv4lconvert.c;h=014c600c2a9f4432d2399f8052c1e49135bfc671;hp=a4a8aa0f28fd5db4dd0bebbdf1c69a104a57203a;hb=811bbe21e5e4bef7c65afbb4ab259dfab649ee5a;hpb=c8b37c4e9d7cbfb3f974fa24cbe07d80364ce9a1

So the error is now suppressed, and the short frames are skipped which results in a low frame rate. But that's just a guess.

I want to install back version from squeeze, but found out that it is
gone (!) from Debian site[1]. I hope it temporal error!

You can get it from the pool:
http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian/pool/main/v/v4l-utils/

Thanks,
Gregor
