Package: exim4
Severity: wishlist

This was originally reported in Ubuntu here:

https://launchpad.net/bugs/289311

If a user enters, for instance, "127.0.0.1,127.0.0.2" into the debconf
question for local interfaces, they will receive an error only when
trying to start up exim4 later on. The config script should do basic
validation beyond stripping whitespace, to make sure the user didn't
use anything except numbers, periods, colons, and semiclons.
