Package: dovecot-imapd Version: 1:1.2.15-4 Severity: normal Using dovecot through xinetd implies direct calls to /usr/lib/dovecot/imap-login
Since 1.2, imap-login itself assumes that /var/run/dovecot exists on boot, which is not true if you use tmpfs for /var/run. So it fails until you create by hand the missing directory.
