No problem. VDR 1.7.x will soon be uploaded to unstable or experimental anyways.
I tried also to stop fast-forwarding by pressing the fast-backward key, but the same phenomen appears once the last "fast-forward arrow" disappears. The problem doesn't appear with fast backward.
You are probably using a full featured DVB card. In this case, you must update the card firmware.
