Package: sudo-ldap Version: 1.7.4p4-2 Severity: important
Updating of sudo-ldap to version from squieeze breaks sudo completely. The problem is in missing "sudoers: files ldap" record in nsswitch.conf. In this case sudo never asks ldap to get sudoers rules, but always uses /etc/sudoers. Thus, we can't login if we don't know password for root user or root login dislabled completely. -- System Information: Debian Release: 6.0 APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.32-5-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages sudo-ldap depends on: ii libc6 2.11.2-7 Embedded GNU C Library: Shared lib ii libldap-2.4-2 2.4.23-7 OpenLDAP libraries ii libpam-modules 1.1.1-6.1 Pluggable Authentication Modules f ii libpam0g 1.1.1-6.1 Pluggable Authentication Modules l sudo-ldap recommends no packages. sudo-ldap suggests no packages. -- Configuration Files: /etc/sudoers.d/README [Errno 13] Permission denied: u'/etc/sudoers.d/README' -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
