Package: unattended-upgrades Version: 0.62.2 Severity: critical Justification: breaks unrelated software
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 The hook /etc/pm/sleep.d/10_unattended-upgrades-hibernate deliberately breaks pm-utils by preventing the system from hibernating while unattended-upgrades is running. There is absolutely *no* relation between unattended-upgrades and pm-utils. Any process running at the time of hibernation could consider itself just as important as unattended-upgrades, thereby preventing the system from ever hibernating. Please refrain from abusing such hook interfaces, even if they lack a proper policy. Thanks.
