Package: util-vserver Version: 0.30.216-pre2864-2+b1 Severity: normal
Normally after the base system is installed, a post install script is being called. Within that script the init scripts who are not needed are being removed with update-rc.d. This is not working in this version, because the symlink is missing. This should fix it: cd /usr/lib/util-vserver/distributions ln -s debian squeeze Although update-rc.d is issuing this "update-rc.d: using dependency based boot sequencing" every time it is beeing called. -- System Information: Debian Release: 6.0 APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.32-5-vserver-amd64 (SMP w/16 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages util-vserver depends on: ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.36 Debian configuration management sy ii iproute 20100519-3 networking and traffic control too ii libc6 2.11.2-7 Embedded GNU C Library: Shared lib ii libnss3-1d 3.12.8-1 Network Security Service libraries ii make 3.81-8 An utility for Directing compilati ii net-tools 1.60-23 The NET-3 networking toolkit ii util-linux 2.17.2-5 Miscellaneous system utilities Versions of packages util-vserver recommends: ii binutils 2.20.1-15 The GNU assembler, linker and bina ii debootstrap 1.0.26 Bootstrap a basic Debian system Versions of packages util-vserver suggests: ii iptables 1.4.8-3 administration tools for packet fi ii linux-image-2.6.32-5-amd64 [l 2.6.32-29 Linux 2.6.32 for 64-bit PCs ii linux-image-2.6.32-5-vserver- 2.6.32-29 Linux 2.6.32 for 64-bit PCs, Linux ii module-init-tools 3.12-1 tools for managing Linux kernel mo ii procps 1:3.2.8-9 /proc file system utilities pn vlan <none> (no description available) ii wget 1.12-2.1 retrieves files from the web pn yum <none> (no description available) -- debconf information: util-vserver/postrm_remove_vserver_configs: false util-vserver/prerm_stop_running_vservers: true -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
