Package: autofs5
Version: 5.0.4-3.2

We have a server that automounts user home directories using autofs.
For sftp chrooting reasons, the home dirs which are like:

/home/<username>

are symbolically linked to a directory which is chrooted by SSH. So, in
our case, /home is a symbolic link pointing to:

/var/chroot/sftp/home

Then, when a user establishes their sftp connection to the machine,
their home directory is mounted in /var/chroot/sftp/home/<username>.

This works fine with autofs4. However, with autofs5, the automount
fails with the following message:

do_mount_autofs_indirect: failed to create ioctl fd for autofs
path /home

The machine in question is running Debian 6.0, kernel 2.6.32.22 and
libc6 Version: 2.11.2-7

Thanks,
Bryan
