I have written to Debian Mentors for looking a way of managing the library
transition because of the fact a new way of providing the SONAME in last
upstream version of CEGUI will require such an action.

Furthermore, I talked to upstream author, and he told me that it is likely CEGUI
will be released in a more traditional naming scheme from version 0.8.0 which is
supposed to be out in the first half of this year (which means that if 0.7.5 is
released in Debian two library transitions are needed).

Next step is that I have to send a mail to Debian Release to see their POV
(taking into account what I wrote above). I also think that the upload of
this package will get to NEW queue because of the big changes. Said this,
I guess that it will take time to release this version properly, and it is
something that will happen after squeeze is released.

I will write such a message to Debian Release, and I will keep you informed
about this. If you need something (that I upload the source in some place to you
for working) just tell me.

Regards,
