I have tried 7 times to burn a data-dvd using verbatim dvd-r media. Each time I 
am informed that
wodim cannot fixate the dvd, but that the disc might be readable.

I am using a laptop with an internal dvd-burner bought from a company called 
Sahara,
originally with Ubuntu 8.04 installed.

Up until last week, data dvds worked fine - I do remember there being a k3b 
update in the last few days,
but cannot confirm this as the cause, due to multiple other updates before I
opted to do a backup of my data.
