This is most likely because you haven't set milter_connect_macros
appropriately; the values shown are the default values when
spamass-milter can't access the macros.


  # spamass-milter configuration
  smtpd_milters = unix:/spamass/spamass.sock
  # milter macros useful for spamass-milter
  milter_connect_macros = j {daemon_name} v {if_name} _


or similar should work; if not, let me see what is set there, and I'll
see if I can replicate it somewhere.
