I'm still unclear what the Right Way to do that is. I don't want to duplicate a lot of code into this package but on the other hand the alternative, wwwconfig-common seems to be somehow deprecated. But since these are indeed not essential to the core functionality and provide only peripheral / optional features, I'll downgrade php5-cli to a Recommends from the next release.
