Package: worldwind
Version: 0.5.0-8
Severity: normal

The worldwind application with the default example brings up a window and shows
the earth. However, a message in the lower right corner of the window indicates
that there is no network connection. Messages written to the console show that
worldwind tried to establish an external connection, but failed. Trying the
Moon example shows worldwind trying to read an image file off the internet, and
failing.

Internet connection is through an ADSL modem.

Javas installed:

gcj 4.4.5-2
Sun java 6.22-1

How I resolved the problem:

In /etc/sysctl.d/bindv6only.conf, setting net.ipv6.bindv6only = 0 allows
worldwind to connect.
