Package: cfengine3 Version: 3.0.5+dfsg-1 Severity: minor
Hi, All the man pages have this boiler text: cfengine is a self-healing configuration and change management based system. You can think of cfengine as a very high level lan‐ guage, much higher level than Perl or shell. Asingle statement is called a promise, and compliance can result in many hundreds of filesbeing created, or the permissions of many hundreds offiles being set. The idea of cfengine is to create a one or more sets of configuration files which willclassify and describe the setup of every host in a network. There are two issues: * there are lots of words there which have been run together (Asingle, filesbeing, willclassify, offiles) * confusingly placed - there is no clear separation between what i want to see in the man page (something educational) and the boilerplate it would be good to see these fixed up. thanks, kk -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.32-5-686-bigmem (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_AU.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_AU.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages cfengine3 depends on: ii libc6 2.11.2-7 Embedded GNU C Library: Shared lib ii libdb4.8 4.8.30-2 Berkeley v4.8 Database Libraries [ ii libpcre3 8.02-1.1 Perl 5 Compatible Regular Expressi ii libssl0.9.8 0.9.8o-4 SSL shared libraries cfengine3 recommends no packages. cfengine3 suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
