Package: dhcpcd Version: 1:3.2.3-5 Severity: wishlist Since dhcpcd has been renamed to dhcpcd-bin, any scripts that attempt to send signals to a process called dhcpcd (using pkill or killall) fail. Thus, any scripts that interact with dhcpcd must include Debian-specific hacks to check for dhcpcd-bin.
If dhcpcd need the ability to work with a config file, please work with
upstream to add such functionality rather than hacking around with such
dodgy tricks.
