Package: gxmms2 Version: 0.7.0+git20090608-3 Severity: normal Other xmms2 clients such as promoe and esperanza detect that a client (not necessarily themselves) has changed the playlist, and refreshes their own listing appropriately, immediately.
gxmms2 doesn't do this, instead having a refresh button. I reckon this is probably the source of bug #561290. It also means that when you drag and drop items around manually, sometimes the move doesn't work as expected, so the list in the gui falls out of sync with the list on the server. So then if you further manipulate the list, it just ends up completely screwy. -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.34-1-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_AU.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_AU.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages gxmms2 depends on: ii libc6 2.11.2-2 Embedded GNU C Library: Shared lib ii libglib2.0-0 2.24.0-1 The GLib library of C routines ii libgtk2.0-0 2.20.1-1 The GTK+ graphical user interface ii libpango1.0-0 1.26.2-1 Layout and rendering of internatio ii libx11-6 2:1.3.2-1 X11 client-side library ii libxmmsclient-glib1 0.7DrNo-3 XMMS2 - glib client library ii libxmmsclient6 0.7DrNo-3 XMMS2 - client library ii xmms2-icon 0.7DrNo-3 XMMS2 - icon package Versions of packages gxmms2 recommends: ii xmms2 0.7DrNo-3 Client/server based media player s gxmms2 suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
