Package: libgphoto2 Version: 2.4.10.1-3 Severity: normal Hi,
I'd tried the experimental version with my ax203 photo frame (Winbond W25Q16 chipset): it didn't work. The files usbscsi.so and usbdiskdirect.so aren't included. It seems that my photo frame needs these libraries (without Digikam didn't find the photo frame). Therefore I added "usbscsi, usbdiskdirect" into libgphoto2-2-dev.install and libgphoto2-port0.install: usr/lib/libgphoto2_port/*/{serial,usb,disk,ptpip,usbscsi,usbdiskdirect}.{la,a} and usr/lib/libgphoto2_port/*/{serial,usb,disk,ptpip,usbscsi,usbdiskdirect}.so After this Digikam sees the photo frame, but I can't transfer any files. This is because my chipset isn't included in the ID list in ax203.c. Therefore I added my chipset and contacted upstream for including the chipset into libgphoto. Now I get an undefined symbol message (undefined symbol: jpeg_mem_dest). It seems that an include statement is missing in "jpeg_memsrcdest.c": https://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/forum.php?thread_name=4C9A0070.6020109%40freenet.de&forum_name=gphoto- devel After applying all three patches my photo frame works with Digiam flawless (so far). Could you please add the missing include statement and add the files ("usbscsi.{so,la,a}" and "usbdiskdirect.{so,la,l}")? Thank you.
