Sauerbraten is a game that features online play. However, the developer did not include any form of anti-cheating protection. As such, many servers run addon to try to curb cheating. One such measure is run a checksum against the maps the client has, and compare them to the ones on the server. If different, the server will prevent you from playing. In order for the checksum check to work, the .ogz distributed by the Debian project must be identical to ones in the offical archive, found here (http://sourceforge.net/projects/sauerbraten/files/sauerbraten/2010_07_19/sauerbraten_2010_07_28_justice_edition_linux.tar.bz2/download). This bug has already been reported to Ubuntu, but has not made it's way upstream to Debian, yet.
