I'm only packaging it. Coding is currently done alone by Tomáš
Bžatek. :-)

Indeed that works too (Shift+F6). See [1] for a list of shortcuts for
tuxcmd. Does this helps you? So too the Shilft+F6 is already there for
renaming.

This sounds great :-). As said I'm only packaging tuxcmd for Debian,
and the development is done upstream by Tomáš Bžatek
<tbza...@users.sourceforge.net>. Did you considered contacting him?
There is a git-Repository available [2], and see [3]. Maybe he would
be really glad to have help on it :-). He writes: "The repository is
accessible for anonymous checkout and active contributors may receive
commit accounts per request." So you may ask him to have access to
have commit access.
