Hi, Soon after I wrote the previous message I realized it is very unlikely that the problem was in desktop-base. I checked it and now I know that the problem did not dissappear but it does not exist (and never did) when you activate desktop cube instead of desktop wall. So it is a problem of desktop-wall. Please reassign it to compiz-fusion-plugins-main.
