I'm afraid this is relating to a different scenario than the one of
this bug (closing tabs) ... but maybe the same cause...

I've used that to downgrade FF, which removed the webdeveloper
extension for me.

After that I upgraded to the security one (1.0.4-2sarge2) again, and
this time didn't reinstall webdeveloper.

Now I have only the french language pack and "Search Button"
extensions, and the tabs can be closed without a crash.

So this seems like a valid workaround for me for this very bug.

As I said in the begining, this looks like a different scenario, so
maybe would need another bug in BTS ? ... or probably one already
exists for this very scenario (sdebar, etc.)...

And btw, the sidebar seems to crahs here also, even without
webdeveloper, but as I don't use it, that's not so bad...
