After that I upgraded to the security one (1.0.4-2sarge2) again, and this time didn't reinstall webdeveloper. Now I have only the french language pack and "Search Button" extensions, and the tabs can be closed without a crash. And btw, the sidebar seems to crahs here also, even without webdeveloper, but as I don't use it, that's not so bad... Hope this helps.
