Please start gnome-session in debug mode and send the relevant debugging logs, so that we can see if evince indeed fails to register to the session manager. All in all this shouldn’t be enough to prevent logout, only to make it stuck for 10 seconds, but that’s the only lead we have. Cheers, -- .''`.
