See buildd.debian.org/build.php?arch=&pkg=gnome-schedule I have no idea what pbuilder installs, but it probably installs too much. Things like cron are only priority important. It should only have essential packages installed (which basicly limits it to priority required) and build essential. I have no clue about pbuilder, I've never used it.
