Package: pearpc
Version: 0.4.0-5
Severity: important

Hi,

I tested pearpc with video.x installed (and without also).

I was trying to install Debian Linux using this iso files

debian-31r8-i386-businesscard.iso
debian-40r9-powerpc-businesscard.iso
debian-507-powerpc-businesscard.iso
debian-testing-powerpc-businesscard.iso (debian squeeze daily image)

Non of above works.

I can start ppc, it detects bootable CD (but not 31r8, which is actually
bootable),
then Yaboot shows,

i press enter, and after a moment it shows:

and then just loops, making CPU 100% loaded.

Nothing happens, so no installation possible.

I also tried video=ofonly, expert modes, multiple changes
in ppc.conf, etc. no difference.

I not tested yet any prebuilt HD images with debian.

Thanks.
