Sorry, but running v9.0.597.0 I can't seem to reproduce this issue. Does it still persist after upgrading to a new version of Chromium 9 or version 10? If so, can you try to see if the headlines are visible in another browser like Iceweasel as well to rule out an error on the BBC's part? And finally if you've narrowed it down to a chrome-specific issue try running chromium-browser from the terminal and posting the log here. Thanks.
