Thanks for the patched upgrade -- I was experiencing crashing Xfce
plugins because of version 2.23.3-1 in addition to the problems
reported by Julian.
Unfortunately, I am now no longer able to use my ISP's webmail
interface to access my email using 'iceweasel'. I am getting this in
'.xsession-errors':

Reverting to 2.23.2-1 restores full functionality for me. (The
package listings below reflect this revert to the last working
version, but the error log above occured with the problematic
version.)
[Please note that I am using a heavily-modified Sid system, including
custom kernel and local builds of core X packages, radeon, libdrm, and
mesa. These probably have no impact regarding this bug, but I wanted
to mention it for the sake of completion.]
