Try removing the two dummy packages you have installed:
java-virtual-machine-dummy
java2-runtime-dummy

... and send me the results of these commands:
apt-cache depends azureus
dpkg -l sun-j2re1.5 sun-j2sdk1.5
/usr/sbin/update-alternatives --display java
java -version
