Package: phpbb3 Version: 3.0.7-PL1-4 Severity: normal Tags: squeeze I upgraded a Lenny install to Squeeze today. There were two small issues with upgrading phpbb3:
· The database was not upgraded automatically. After I entered the values from /etc/phpbb3/database.inc.php into /etc/dbconfig-common/phpbb3.conf this did however work. (/etc/dbconfig-common/phpbb3.conf only contained empty strings before although I think I configured the database with dbconfig-common when I installed phpbb3 initially.) · After solving the database problems, I got a permission error: The directory /var/cache/phpbb3 was owned by root:root with permissions rwxr-x---. I had to change the group to www-data.
