Hi, the same entry appears on an up-to-date Squeeze installation using an encrypted partition + LVM as proposed by the installer.
The encrypted partition is shown as "8.4GB Unrecognized" in the Gnome Places menu. When trying to mount it, an error message appears saying "Unable to mount 8.4GB Unrecognized. One or more block devices are holding /dev/dm-0." Intended behaviour : this partition should not be listed in the Places menu.
