Package: puppet Version: 2.6.2-3 Severity: important Hi,
I've been hit by issues with parameterized classes in non-trivial situations and especially when using inheritance with them. This has been know as the upstream bug #4534 [1] that was fixed in 2.6.3. [1] https://projects.puppetlabs.com/issues/4534 The issues I am having do not appear when using experimental's 2.6.3 packages. According to upstream Changelog this has been fixed by commit 65ef24e [2]. [2] https://projects.puppetlabs.com/projects/puppet/repository/revisions/65ef24e I've not tried applying this patch to Squeeze's 2.6.2-3 source yet. -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (1, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.32-5-686 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=fr_FR.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=fr_FR.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages puppet depends on: ii puppet-common 2.6.2-3 Centralized configuration manageme ii ruby1.8 1.8.7.302-2 Interpreter of object-oriented scr Versions of packages puppet recommends: ii ruby [rdoc] 4.5 An interpreter of object-oriented Versions of packages puppet suggests: ii etckeeper 0.50 store /etc in git, mercurial, bzr ii puppet-el 2.6.2-3 syntax highlighting for puppet man pn vim-puppet <none> (no description available) -- no debconf information -- intrigeri <intrig...@boum.org> | GnuPG key @ https://gaffer.ptitcanardnoir.org/intrigeri/intrigeri.asc | OTR fingerprint @ https://gaffer.ptitcanardnoir.org/intrigeri/otr-fingerprint.asc | Then we'll come from the shadows. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
