Package: jack Version: 3.1.1+cvs20050801-26 Severity: minor Tags: patch One typo: “avaiable” -> “available”
One clause ends prematurely: “...’gogo’, ‘mp3enc’ or (only oggenc and flac...)”. There should be something between the “or” and the “(“. When it says that things are/are not available in Debian, it’s unclear whether it means “is supported/is not supported in the Debian version of jack” or simply “this program is not supplied in Debian”. Also, the list is out of date. Hence, suggested changes: “The last two are not avaiable in Debian” -> “The last two are not packaged in Debian” “(only oggenc and flac are available in Debian)” -> “(only oggenc, flac and mppenc are available in Debian)” Further, twolame is supposed to be a drop-in replacement for lame, so why is there no mention of that? -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers maverick-updates APT policy: (500, 'maverick-updates'), (500, 'maverick-security'), (500, 'maverick-backports'), (500, 'maverick') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.35-23-generic (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages jack depends on: ii cdparanoia 3.10.2+debian-9 audio extraction tool for sampling ii flac 1.2.1-3 Free Lossless Audio Codec - comman ii libc6 2.12.1-0ubuntu9 Embedded GNU C Library: Shared lib ii libncursesw5 5.7+20100626-0ubuntu1 shared libraries for terminal hand ii python 2.6.6-2ubuntu1 interactive high-level object-orie ii python-cddb 1.4-5.1build3 Python interface to CD-IDs and Fre ii python-eyed3 0.6.17-1build1 Python module for id3-tags manipul ii python-pyvorbis 1.4-2build1 Python interface to the Ogg Vorbis ii python-support 1.0.9ubuntu1 automated rebuilding support for P ii vorbis-tools 1.4.0-1ubuntu1 several Ogg Vorbis tools jack recommends no packages. jack suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
