Hi all, I also encounter this bug in testing.
The reason I saw is /var/lib/dpkg/info/iptables.shlibs in testing is
libxtables 4 iptables
libip4tc 0 iptables
libipq 0 iptables
libip6tc 0 iptables
libiptc 0 iptables
# And in unstable is
libipq 0 iptables
libip6tc 0 iptables
libiptc 0 iptables
libxtables 5 iptables
libip4tc 0 iptables
This causes when we build-dep on iptables-dev, ${shlibs:Depends}
generates iptables only.
I don't know if it is possible to handle this like what zlib do,
for example, /var/lib/dpkg/info/zlib1g.shlibs
libz 1 zlib1g (>= 1:1.2.3.3.dfsg-1)
So maybe iptables should provide debian/package.shlibs to solve the problem?
