Uploading new FPC version will impact Lazarus and some other tools depending on FPC. The main issue is that it will result in ppu version incompatibility. I'd wait until Squeeze is release before uploading this. Anyway, I'm working on multiple version coexistence and this may solve the issue is Squeeze is going to take longer time. You will be able to have both 2.4.0 and 2.4.2 and even trunk on the same system. Cheers, Abou Al Montacir
