This looks the same as bug #573897
(http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=573897).  I tried to
handle it with the reporter but I couldn't reproduce the bug and I
haven't received more needed information.  So could you please help us?

First, would you try it with speech-dispatcher 0.7.1 from experimental?
It fixes many bugs and should be more stable than the version in
squeeze.

If the problem appears even in 0.7.1, set Speech Dispatcher LogLevel
configuration option to 5, reproduce the problem and send me all the
Speech Dispatcher log files.
