Hi Harri, I'm finally getting around to playing with this bug report (hampered as I am by my complete lack of knowledge of character sets).
I've come across something of a problem reproducing the issue, though -- the example you gave in the bug report appears to be all single-byte characters, most likely as a result of mangling either in your MUA or the BTS (the mbox of your message indicates that the charset was Windows-1252 in Quoted-printable encoding, and the accented characters are =E4 and =F6 in there). Would you be able to send the example ledger file to the bug report again, preferably as an attachment? That way I can be sure to reproduce the issue. Also, as a side issue, your bug report title says "in equity reports" -- does that mean that the alignment issue *doesn't* show up in other reports, or just that that was the one report type you happened to test at the time of the bug report? I'm assuming the latter, but if it is the former that'd probably make the problem a lot easier to track down.
