Package: mozilla-firefox Version: 1.0.4-2sarge2 Severity: important After installing the security update for mozilla-firefox I when trying to open files from the web (e.g: PDF, Postscripts) in the browser window with left click firefox is not asking anymore what do to with that file neither opening or downloading it. When I delete my ~/.mozilla/firefox directory and start firefox again it works in the next firefox session, but if I quit->restart it does not work anymore.
The JavaScript Console gives the following error when clicking on files: >-- Error: uncaught exception: Permission denied to get property RegExp.constructor <-- Plugins and "File Type Actions" are all empty or deactivated. The problem does not occur with mozilla-firefox-1.0.4-2 from testing. The problem occurs on another stable system to which I have access to, too. There are no installed extensions neither system-wide nor per user.
