Package: dclock
Version: 2.2.2-4
Severity: minor

Starting
$ dclock -alarm -alarmTime 02:46
with the default configuration results in

play FAIL formats: can't open input file
`/usr/share/sound/dclock/digital.wav': No such file or directory
dclock: "/usr/bin/play" returned an error. Reverting to system bell.

Visual alarm works and the audio alarm may work as well — but that depends on
the configuration of the "system bell".

The problem is probably in the default configuration in
/etc/X11/app-defaults/Dclock

line:
dclock*alarmFile:               /usr/share/sound/dclock/digital.wav

should be changed to:
dclock*alarmFile:               /usr/share/sounds/dclock/digital.wav
