I fail to see why this is a bug in backupninja at all. This rather
seems like a misconfiguration, a bug in duplicity, filesystem or
hardware corruption, unreliable network connection, not related in any
way to backupninja.

Unless this is quickly clarified, I am going to reassign this bug to
the duplicity package.
