While this is a nice idea, there are too many programs (particularly
quickly-written ones with no argument handling - exactly the kinds of
programs that often don't have manual pages) that don't accept --help
and just ignore the option and carry on.  People expect man to be an
absolutely safe thing to run, and this could well end up performing
destructive actions; you might argue that such programs are buggy, of
course, but it would be too late for the users affected.

I'll leave the bug open with the wontfix tag by way of documentation,
but I don't plan to implement this.
