As I'm running fluxbox, I tried it. None of the 3 following images found on the bugreport did crash my X: * logo2t.png * fuzzy-magick.png * yast.png For your information I'm running sid on AMD64. With latest xorg packages and imagemagick version 8:6.6.0.4-3. So as the original report is one year old, I would suggest testing again with recent version of both Xorg and imagemagick.
