Package: bleachbit Version: 0.8.0-1 Severity: normal
First, CLI and GUI parts of bleachbit could be more useful if separated. Since one of primary points of it is to conserve disk space, installing a possibly unnecessary GUI part is not always desirable. Second, even GUI seems to work successfully without python-gnome2 dependency (installing it requires around 30M of disk space on my system). * Dependencies listed below are from slightly modified package that I made to install into my system. That means, at the very least some of those dependencies could be moved to recommendations. Better if *also* separated into gui and cli packages. -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (990, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.34-1-amd64 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages bleachbit depends on: ii python 2.6.6-3+squeeze1 interactive high-level object-orie ii python-support 1.0.11 automated rebuilding support for P Versions of packages bleachbit recommends: ii menu 2.1.44 generates programs menu for all me ii python-notify 0.1.1-2+b2 Python bindings for libnotify bleachbit suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
