Thanks! I saw your patch a week ago when Loïc Minier submitted Bug #604162. Daniel Shahaf and I both tried to reproduce the failures and couldn't. The tests passed just fine with (in my case) Python 2.7.1rc1 from Debian experimental. If it ever fails again, I'll revisit this.
